Product Series Overview

Series QS: BBO Super-Switches

(Transverse Electrode, 200nm–1064nm)

Ideal for high-speed, high-power Q-switching, the QS series uses BBO crystals with low insertion loss and a damage threshold exceeding 20 KW/cm² (CW). Key features include resonance-free operation, a low capacitance of <2pF for fast rise times in 50-ohm systems, and AR-coated crystal faces with proprietary polymer coatings.

Series QC: KD*P Pockels Cells

(Ring Electrode, 300nm–1064nm)

Designed for low-loss intra-cavity switching, the QC series offers KD*P crystals in 95% and 99% deuteration levels. Available in dry or wet versions with polymer or index-matched coatings for minimal loss.

  • Applications: Ruby lasers (quarter-wave voltage: 2.2 KV) and Nd:YAG lasers (quarter-wave voltage: 3.2 KV).
  • Model QC-10: 35mm diameter, 45mm length. Two-crystal versions like QC-10-2 provide lower half-wave voltages.

Series LN: Lithium Niobate Q-Switches

(Transverse Electrode, 800nm–2500nm)

Tailored for intra-cavity Q-switching and modulation, the LN series features dry-type Lithium Niobate crystals with AR-coated faces and windows.

  • Model LN-9: 9mm aperture, DC switch-out voltage of 1.5 KV at 1064nm.
  • Model LN-16: 16mm aperture, DC switch-out voltage of 2.0 KV at 1064nm.

Series RT: RTP Crystal Pockels Cells

(Transverse Electrode, 600nm–2100nm)

Built for stable Q-switching and pulse picking at multi-kHz to multi-MHz rates, RTP crystals offer negligible piezoelectric resonances and wide optical bandwidth.

  • Applications: High-frequency modulation with fast rise/fall times.

Optimized for low loss and high optical power handling with an 8mm laser beam.

Model MC-10 (Impedance-Matched KD*P)

Designed for picosecond rise-time optical pulse generation in 50-ohm systems with low VSWR. Single-crystal version only.

Model LAP (Large Aperture KD*P)

Features a 50mm aperture for large-scale applications.
